After 7 years playing music from all over Europe, Macfeck has undergone a revolutionary change, finally overwhelmed by the contagious festivity of Galician music.Harry learnt to play the gaita, Marnie the bombo (bass drum), Martiño got fed up with being the soundman, and we found a bloke called Higgins whois a top piper and plays just about everything.

After 2 Brazilian tours demonstrating a bit of European folk culture we decided that this time (17 september- 12 October) it was time to share our enthusiasm for Galician traditional music. We are sure that the people who go to our concerts in Brazil will enjoy our new repertoire as much as we do. We will also be playing a few tunes from the old Macfeck set, and we are bringing our new disc "The Last Black Sheep", as well as a live cd of the new show.
